Council Minutes and Event Notice

Good evening Mowat Parents and Stakeholders.
Please find attached for your review a copy of the minutes of our October meeting.  Please note that the next regular meeting of the Council will be held on Tuesday January 20th.
The November 18th meeting will be replaced with a Mental Health and Well Being Information session.  This event is being coordinated by the Council for the benefit of Mowat Parents and parents from our local feeder schools. A number of guest speakers will be providing valuable information to help increase awareness of mental health and addictions issues and local resources.    We are pleased to announce that the Minister of Children and Youth Services, Honourable Tracy MacCharles  will be joining us for this event and providing opening remarks.
Participants will also benefit from visiting the information booths that will be set up in the cafeteria, where additional information will be made available regarding local community based resources.  Staff representatives from the various organizations will be on-site to answer questions.
Attached you will find the event flyer.  All are welcome – We look forward to seeing you.
